Who is SAATSEPA

SAATSEPA is a voluntary, independent, non-profit association of individuals gathered for associating and exchanging experiences and technical knowledge in the provision of technical support for air traffic control and management to maintain a safe sky for all.

What is an ATSEP

ICAO Doc 10057 states that “ATSEP are personnel proven competent in the installation, operation and/or maintenance of a communications, navigation, surveillance/air traffic management (CNS/ATM) system.”

What is the Responsibility of an ATSEP?

ICAO Doc 10057 also states that “Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) are involved in the installation, operation and maintenance of the communication, navigation, survellance/air traffic management (CNS/ATM) system and must have a shared understanding of what is expected of them in terms of performance wherever they may work to support a globally interoperable system and to achieve optimum capacity within acceptable safety limits.”
